Down’s Syndrome Service

wall decoration

Our service sees children aged 0-19 in Sheffield who have Down’s syndrome.

We provide high-quality management of the medical and developmental issues experienced by children and young people with Down’s syndrome

Children are seen by a paediatrician to assess medical issues and then by a physiotherapist, occupational therapist and speech and language therapist to provide assessment, advice and support.

We participate in research studies specific to Down’s syndrome – please ask us about it when you attend clinic.
