The multi-faith Chaplaincy Team works within Sheffield Children’s Hospital to offer spiritual support and guidance in whatever way we can.
Our support is for anyone who may need it, be it patients, families and carers or staff. We are here for people of all faiths and none. We have a multi-faith chapel and a Muslim prayer room with ablution facilities which are open for use 24 hours a day. The chapel can be used as an area to pray, to take a break and have time to think and to find peace.
The chaplains are members of the hospital staff who can provide pastoral, spiritual and religious support for patients, parents or carers. Chaplains can either provide this support themselves or help you get in touch with someone of your own faith. The Chaplaincy Centre is available for all who wish to spend some time in prayer or quiet reflection.
The Chaplaincy Centre is located on D Floor of Blue Wing, next to the Cystic Fibrosis Unit. This can be accessed by the blue lifts.
