Sheffield Children’s Hospital was delighted to have a visit this week from music star Fatman Scoop.
Fatman Scoop had flown in from the USA that day for a show in Sheffield, but took a couple of hours in between to meet patients from Ward M3.
The artist – who is better known for hyping up tracks with P Diddy, 50 Cent, Janet Jackson and Skrillex – was shown around the ward by seven year old Lewis.
Lewis introduced the star to fellow patients, explained what life was like in hospital and then showed him to the playroom where Scoop joined in with the artwork.
During the visit Fatman Scoop took the time to talk to children about their interests and gave pep-talks to both patients and parents.
Staff also joined in the fun, performing a dance and wearing hand-made gold medallions.
Before he left, Scoop was presented with his very own medallion – made out of card and string by Lewis.
