4,998… 4,999… 5,000!

Over 5,000 children and young people have now been protected from the worst effects of flu thanks to our School Age Immunisation Service (SAIS).

But there’s lots more work to do. Our team will be visiting more schools around Sheffield over the next couple of months.

Parents and carers will receive an email or text about the flu immunisation from your child’s school around two weeks before our team visit. This will ask for your e-consent, so your child can be given the vaccine. If you don’t fill this out, then your child cannot be vaccinated.

If you would like your child to be vaccinated before their school’s session, then you can visit any of our drop-in clinics.

All the dates are available on our SAIS page.
