On Monday 30 September at 4pm, Sheffield Children’s will open its virtual doors for the 2024 annual members meeting.

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to learn all about how Sheffield Children’s is working towards making its three strategic aims into a reality.

Over the course of 90 minutes, attendees will hear directly from the Trust’s new Chair Professor Laura Serrant CBE, Chief Executive Ruth Brown, and external auditors KPMG. Alongside other leaders across Sheffield Children’s, they will provide members with an update on our work on sepsis, our recent Caring Together Summit and the eagerly anticipated new helipad. After hearing all about the Trust’s achievements during 2023/24, members will also get a taste of what’s in store for the future at Sheffield Children’s.

Professor Laura Serrant CBE, Chair of the Board at Sheffield Children’s, said: “We’re really looking forward to this year’s annual members meeting and the chance to reflect on the fantastic work which has happened across Sheffield Children’s over the last year in pursuit of our mission to provide healthier futures for children and young people. We’re also keen to highlight our role in important collaborations regionally and nationally”.

Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, including patients, parents, colleagues, and members of the wider community. You can learn more and register your place at the meeting by completing the form on the Sheffield Children’s website. Once you have filled out the form, you will be sent a link to the event a day or two before with instructions on how to join the meeting.

The Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts 2023/24 will also shortly be available on the Sheffield Children’s website.
