Summer holiday vaccine clinics for year 8 and year 9 pupils

Do you have a child in year 8 or 9 at school?

If your child is currently in year 8 and has not received their vaccine for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), or in year 9 and has not yet received vaccines for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (DTP) or Meningitis ACWY during this school year, the following clinics are available over the summer holidays:

• Tues 26 July, Darnall Primary Care Centre, S9 4QH, 9.30am to 12pm
• Fri 29 July, Concord Sports Centre, S5 6AE, 9.30am to 3.30pm, appointments available*
• Tues 2 Aug, Darnall Primary Care Centre, S9 4QH, 9am to 12pm
• Fri 5 Aug, The Learning Zone (SOAR) S5 8NL (above Parsons Cross Library), 9.30am to 3.30pm
• Tues 9 Aug, Darnall Primary Care Centre, S9 4QH, 9am to 12pm
• Fri 12 Aug, St Columba’s Church (Crosspool), S10 5PL, 9am to 4pm
• Tues 16 Aug, Darnall Primary Care Centre, S9 4QH, 9am to 12pm
• Wed 17 Aug, Sharrow Community Forum, S7 1DB, 9am to 4pm
• Tues 23 Aug, Darnall Primary Care Centre, S9 4QH, 9am to 12pm
• Fri 26 Aug, Concord Sports Centre, S5 6AE, 9.30am to 3.30pm, appointments available*

You don’t need to make an appointment, just drop in on the day. Give the School Nurse Immunisation Team a call on 0114 305 3230 if you have any questions.

*These are sensory clinics aimed at supporting children who have found it difficult to be vaccinated previously.
