Sheffield Wednesday spread festive cheer at Sheffield Children’s

A young child is presented with a blue christmas teddy
17 December 2025
It was an early blue and white Christmas as we welcomed Sheffield Wednesday to Sheffield Children’s.

Captain and Ambassador for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity Barry Bannan, Manager Henrik Pedersen, and players Harry Amass, Jamal Lowe and Max Lowe met families staying on the wards, handed out some festive goodies, and chatted about their upcoming matches.

There was a special moment for Freddie who met Barry Bannan for a second time – and they reminisced about when he was a mascot for the club! Meanwhile, little Milo was spellbound by a new festive teddy.

A big thank you to everyone from Sheffield Wednesday for joining us and helping to create magical memories for children and young people.
