Sheffield Children’s launches ‘Thank You Fortnight’

21 January 2022

Sheffield Children’s is delighted to announce ‘We Care Thank You Fortnight’ – our chance to say a huge thank you to each and every one of our colleagues for everything they do.

January can be a really tough month – both at work and home. However, this month can also be a positive time. A new year gives us hope for positive change and can be a time for reflection, celebration and goal setting. So this year at Sheffield Children’s we want to spend the rest of January focussing on those positives and celebrate the amazing people within our Trust and the incredible things they do every day.

So, from 17 January to 28 January, we’re celebrating and thanking our colleagues in lots of ways!

This includes free refreshments and treats for colleagues across all our sites and those working from home. We’re also launching a brand-new snack trolley run by our fantastic volunteers at the hospital site.

Colleagues can join in with the celebrations by using the fortnight to say ‘thank you’ to each other with our special series of downloadable e-cards.

Something as simple as a thank you can mean so much to someone…so who in the Sheffield Children’s team will you say thank you to? Join in with our celebrations by using the hashtag #SheffChildrensThankYou on social media.

We’ll get you started! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at The Children’s Hospital Charity, Becton School and our volunteers who’ve supported our colleagues through the pandemic.
