Road closure outside our Emergency Department 30 March

The road outside our Emergency Department, Whitham Road (A57) will be closed from 8pm on 30 March for road line painting.

You will still be able to access our Emergency Department via ambulance and drop offs by cars or taxi if needed. Staff working on the road will be able to let you through if urgent access to our Emergency Department is needed, so please don’t hesitate to get urgent care if needed.

However, you will not be able to park on the road due to the works taking place. Alternative parking in the surrounding area, including Q Park on Durham Road, will be available and there will be colleagues outside the hospital helping direct anyone that needs to park.
