Young people of all ages enjoyed listening to the festive stories being read to them and was an extra treat as part of their usual learning with the teaching team.
Children and young people at Sheffield Children’s are often supported by the dedicated teaching team from Becton School. The teachers work across the hospital and our dedicated mental health lodges to make sure they can continue their education even when in hospital or receiving healthcare treatment and can’t attend mainstream school.
We’re so grateful for the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress’ visit – thank you!
