Invitation to Digital Health Equality Workshop

sheffield children's hospital main entrance turning circle
06 June 2023

The Burton Street Foundation, S6 2HH, Wednesday 7 June, 10am-2pm, Run in partnership between Sheffield Children’s and The University of Sheffield

Have you experienced digital health services? Examples might include the NHS app, virtual appointments or digital patient information.

If so, you are invited to participate in a workshop to share your experiences and ideas about using digital health services and how we can meet your needs to ensure you feel digitally included.

During the workshop, we will share ideas and experiences of using different types of digital health services and work together on possible ways to make them better for everyone.

What to expect from the workshops

The workshop will be three hours long (10am-1pm) followed by a 1 hour lunch (1pm-2pm). There will be regular breaks and we will finish on time! We will have some conversations in small groups of around 5 people. We hope everyone will learn new things, connect with new people and hear new perspectives and ideas. People who take part will be offered a day travel card as a thank you for attending the workshop.

Who will be taking part

Families, community people, colleagues from Sheffield Children’s, colleagues from local community organisations, and University of Sheffield Management School facilitators.

How to join the workshop

Please register for the workshop so that we can support you well. If you require an interpreter or have access or dietary needs you can tell us when registering on this form. If you have any questions, please email them to d.el-manstrly@sheffield.ac.uk
