Festive season 2023 – thank you

Before the year ends we’d like to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped bring festive joy to our patients this Christmas time. We’ve had visits from famous footballers, ice hockey players, gold medallists, theatre stars and more! The inside and outside of our buildings have featured incredible decorations and there have been lots of special activities, gifts and events provided by our staff including our Play Team, The Children’s Hospital Charity and Art Plus and more.

We can’t forget this very special visit from Father Christmas, which was organised by our brilliant PACT charity team for patients on Ward 6. PACT support our patients and families in so many different ways including providing accommodation at PACT house, trips to the seaside, and organising events in the hospital like this one.

Thank you to everyone who has helped bring some magic to Sheffield Children’s this year, we can’t wait for more in 2024.
