Direct phone lines may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance work

Our direct phone lines starting 0114 305 may be temporarily unavailable due to essential maintenance work by one of our providers today (Wednesday 17 August).

We are informed that any interruption should only last a matter of seconds for each number and will then move on to the next number in sequence but, given the large number of lines involved, the whole process will take a number of hours to complete.

If you can’t reach one of our 0114 305 numbers for more than a minute or two please call our switchboard on 0114 271 7000 and ask for the service that you need. They will be able to transfer you through.

Thank you for your patience during this work which involves old copper circuits being withdrawn and replaced with fibre optic links as part of the National Telecommunications Plan.
