Clarkson Street outside our main entrance closed

The road outside the Main Entrance to our Hospital (Clarkson Street) is closed due to a burst water pipe. We expect this closure to be in place over the weekend (8 and 9 October) and into the week commencing 10 October as the team work to fix the issue.

We recommend anyone visiting the hospital to allow extra travel time, in case of traffic congestion in the area caused by the closed road.

Due to this closure, there is no access to our pick up and drop off area outside our main entrance. If you have accessibility needs and would usually use our drop off area, please use the Emergency Department entrance.

You can access our underground car park and the Q-Park by using Durham Road or B6547.
