Thinking about a placement at Sheffield Children’s?

Thank you for your interest in joining us! At Sheffield Children’s, we’re proud to be a teaching organisation, supporting hundreds of students every year as they take their next steps in healthcare. We love welcoming learners and helping them gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

We work closely with local education providers through established agreements to make placements meaningful and relevant to course requirements. These partnerships create structured opportunities that help students thrive in their chosen programmes.

At the moment, we don’t have a wider programme for individual placement requests outside these arrangements. Occasionally, we can offer ad hoc opportunities, but these are very limited and cannot be guaranteed or scheduled on request.
