Rosie Sobieraj

Rosie Sobieraj joined the Trust in January 2019 as Senior Communications Officer.

Her role involves communicating the fantastic work Sheffield Children’s does alongside projects and events, to patients, families, the community, partner organisations and the general public.

Her duties include handling media enquiries, arranging interviews, hosting film crews, creating creative digital content, working with partners across the city to share collaborative work and liaising with experts and patients across the Trust to tell their stories.

Before joining Sheffield Children’s, Rosie graduated in Public Relations and Media BA Hons at Sheffield Hallam University in 2014.

Since university, Rosie has worked in communications in charity, private and public sectors. This includes as PR and Development Manager at a charity for the homeless and the North Nottinghamshire community and voluntary service, for a number of clients at a regional PR agency in South Yorkshire, Communications Officer for the children and young people directorate at Rotherham Council and Communications Officer at a specialist National Policing operation.
