George joined the Trust in May 2015 as Communications Officer before becoming Senior Communications Officer in 2016.
His role includes responsibility for maintaining the Trust website and staff intranet, including all content and technical developments. He works on the digital strategy, consults on digital health innovation and patient facing digital interaction.
George specialises in strategy, copywriting, creative concepts, digital tools and behavioural approaches to health communications. He has consulted on and managed a number of campaigns, strategies and digital resources for a range of stakeholders including local and central government, healthcare and public health.
After graduating from the University of York, George has developed his role as a creative communications professional and user-centred content and interaction designer. He has over 14 years experience working in marketing, advertising, communications, and digital development across a range of industries including education, engineering, media and the public sector.
