Amy Baggaley started working for the spinal team at Sheffield Children’s in February 2018.
She joined the Paediatric Bone Disease Service in October 2018.
Amy’s role within the team is to provide clinical support to the nursing staff and therapists.
Prior to the COVID pandemic Amy’s job role was more patient facing, however since the pandemic Amy’s role has evolved and she is now more office based.
Her current role within the team includes:
· Streamlining patient admissions
· Collation of specific patient data
· Prepping of clinics and admissions
· Co-ordination with other specialist teams for patient’s admissions & appointments
· Preparing outpatient clinics
· Organising follow-up appointments, especially those impacted by the covid pandemic
· General office based duties
Amy really enjoys co-ordinating and facilitating patient admissions, to ensure integrated care and optimal treatment.
She strives to uphold the trust values and feels very passionate about working in the Paediatric Bone Disease Service at Sheffield Children’s.
