Rohit is a Consultant Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who specialises in ear surgery, airway disorders and the management of sleep apnoea. After graduating from the University of Cambridge, Rohit trained in London and Manchester including a fellowship at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital focussing on complex ear disease, hearing implants and airway problems at the busiest paediatric ENT department in the UK.
Rohit spent two years at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary as a fellow of Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. There he undertook his doctorate research in advanced hearing implant technology, working in a team of internationally renowned surgeons and scientists from the UK, US, Australia and Switzerland.
In Spring 2020 Rohit was appointed Clinical Lead for ENT and holds the role of Deputy Divisional Governance lead, helping to ensure the highest standards of care for all surgical patients at the trust. Rohit is a Trust anti-bullying champion and educational supervisor for foundation doctors at the start of their career in medicine.

Rohit works with the Cleft Palate team based in Nottingham, and regularly offers combined airway assessments with the respiratory team at Sheffield Children’s.
