Dr Davis is the lead for Paediatric Neuropsychology at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
Qualifications

Dr Davis obtained a first class degree in Psychology at the University of Hull and then worked in research in the department of Neuropsychiatry at the University of Nottingham.

She returned to the University of Hull to complete her Clinical Psychology Doctoral training and qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2001.

In 2006 she obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Nottingham.

Dr Davis initially worked in child development and child psychology services in Nottingham, specialising in neuropsychology, developmental conditions and therapeutic interventions with young people.

She then came to Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust in 2010.

Specialties

She specialises in the care of patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions as outpatients at the Ryegate Centre and as inpatients at The Children’s Hospital, Sheffield.

Dr Davis also provides assessment and intervention for patients with non-epileptic attack disorder and their families.

Research

Her research interests include long term follow-up of children undergoing epilepsy surgery, fMRI and intracranial functional mapping in the localisation of function, symptom validity testing, non-epileptic attack disorder, neuropsychological rehabilitation in traumatic brain injury and interventions for the psychosocial consequences of neurological conditions.
