We’re getting ready for another Super Saturday!
Super Saturdays are always a brilliant chance for us spend time out in the community meeting lots of children and young people and their families, but this Super Saturday will be a little bit different.
It’s our first event which will focus on supporting children and young people with their mental wellbeing and our teams will be based in three different locations in the community throughout Saturday 20 January 2024.
We’re especially excited to be working in collaboration with lots of brilliant community organisations for this event and we’ll be joined by Chilypep, SAYiT in person and The Corner (Change Grow Live) and SYEDA (South Yorkshire Eating Disorder Association) who will have resources available, alongside colleagues from our own 0-19 team, PAIRS (Parent and Infant Relationship Service), the Lucy Project and Research and Innovation services.
There will be a chance to meet with professionals from these teams and opportunity to take part in activities like mindful painting, creating mental health first aid kits and other craft activities. Plus Theo Bear will be touring Sheffield to see lots of his friends too! You can meet Theo at Sheffield Central Library (11.15-11.45am), Meadowhall (12.30-1.15pm), and Highfield Adventure Playground (2.45-3.15pm).
Our teams will also be promoting oral health, so you can brush up on your knowledge of that too!
See you there!
