Cystic Fibrosis team are ready to go!

Our Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Service are all set for CF week, which runs from 12-18 June.

 

They’re inviting anyone under their care – plus mums, dads, carers, grandparents and friends – to walk, run, swim, scoot, cycle and see how far they can get – virtually – as a team. Very little ones could even be carried along in a buggy!

 

The team said: “We think all the children and young people we work with are brilliant. We know it’s tough that you can’t meet with each other, so we wanted to do something together as one big team instead!”

 

This challenge is for anyone under the care of the CF Service at Sheffield Children’s – but we would always encourage everyone to get active! If you are part of the CF Service though, don’t forget to email how many miles you’ve covered to fran.allen2@nhs.net so it can all be added together! Fran will be mapping out the total visually for everyone who contributes to see.
