COVID vaccinations for 5 to 11-year-olds at Sheffield Children’s

5 to 11 year old’s can now receive their COVID vaccination (first or second dose) at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

There are appointments available to book at the hospital on:

  • Saturday 23 April 10am to 3pm
  • Saturday 30 April 10 am to 3pm
  • Saturday 7 May 10am to 3pm
  • Saturday 14 May 10am to 3pm
  • Saturday 21 May 10am to 3pm
  • Saturday 28 May 10am to 3pm

There must be a minimum of twelve weeks between doses. If the young person having the vaccine has tested positive for COVID, they must leave 12 weeks before receiving the vaccine.

Sensory vaccination session for 12 to 15-year-olds

Our school nursing team will be holding a relaxed sensory session for children and young people who are anxious about having a vaccine.  It will be held at The Concord Sports Centre, Shiregreen Lane, S5 6AE on Thursday 14 April 10am – 2pm.
