Sheffield Children’s is incredibly proud to celebrate Trudy Donn, Senior Medical Technical Officer in Histopathology, for her well-deserved Special Recognition Award for exceptional services to Health Care Science at the prestigious Healthcare Science Awards 2025.

After a decade of outstanding service, Sheffield Children’s will be saying a fond farewell to Volunteer Services Manager Trudie Smallwood this month, as she heads towards retirement.

To mark International Women’s Day 2025, Sheffield Children’s are hosting an event aimed at celebrating and promoting the health and wellbeing of girls and young women! 

Sheffield Children’s was thrilled to host the second Teddy Bear at Hospital at our hospital on Saturday, 15th February! The event was a huge success, with over 500 children, teddy bears, and families in attendance. 

Meet Jamie Douglas! He is the Interim Head of Capital Projects in the estates team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, and he has been part of the Sheffield Children’s helipad project team since its beginnings 10 years ago....
