Star Awards

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust Star Awards 2024

The Sheffield Children’s Star Awards celebrate our amazing colleagues and shine a light on their incredible contributions towards providing healthier futures for children and young people.

We invite our patients, families and carers to nominate individuals and teams for the Children’s Star – for whatever reason they choose! It could be for outstanding care, being an emotional support when needed, or going the extra mile to make your family’s life better.

You can nominate individuals or teams, and they don’t have to be clinical or medical – just anyone who works at Sheffield Children’s.

For this year’s award we’re also introducing something new. Not only can you nominate your Children’s Star, you can tell them exactly how they’ve helped you publicly too. We’re inviting patients and their families to record short videos and WhatsApp them to us. We’ll then turn these clips into a wonderful montage to share with everyone. Details about how you can be a part of this will be sent to you when you submit a nomination.

Entries for this year’s awards will close at 5pm on Friday 14 June 2024. You can still nominate people after this date, but the nominations will rollover to the next award ceremony.

We look forward to reading your nominations!
