Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is made up of the Chief Executive and five Executive Directors together with the Chairman and six Non-executive Directors.

The board is satisfied that its current membership allows it to function effectively and that it is balanced, complete and appropriate.

Executive Directors

The Executive Directors have, at a senior level, both commercial and NHS experience in a range of subjects including finance, human resources, operations, management, medicine, nursing, strategic and operational planning, research and governance.

Non-executive Directors

The Executive Directors’ expertise is complemented by the skills of the Non-executive Directors in fields such as finance and strategic accounting, human resources, planning, sales and marketing and legal frameworks.

Public attendance at Trust Board meetings

The Trust Board usually meets on the last Tuesday of the month. All Board meetings are currently held virtually.

Members of the public governors and colleagues are welcome to observe the first part of the meeting. Please register below and you will be sent a link to proceedings.  The session starts promptly at 9.30am. Members of the public will be asked to leave the meeting at the end of the session before the private part of the meeting begins. If you have any questions relating to the business of the meeting, please contact the Chair or Trust Secretary after the meeting, or email scn-tr.corporateaffairs@nhs.net. Unfortunately, the Board cannot take questions and comments during the meeting.
