Right First Time

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is part of a new partnership which aims to give Sheffield residents access to the best possible health services.

'Right First Time' is a partnership between local GPs, hospitals, mental and community health teams, voluntary organisations and Sheffield City Council.

The Right First Time programme will focus on the physical, mental health and social care needs of Sheffield's citizens.

The vision

To ensure all Sheffield’s residents:

  • live longer and healthier lives
  • are supported in their local community wherever possible by joined up, high quality, responsive health and social care services
  • receive continuity of care, shared decision making and a lifelong, personalised, preventative approach to health and wellbeing

About the partnership

Sheffield’s NHS organisations and the City Council are determined that local people should continue to benefit from good quality health and social care services, despite the challenges of the recession and changes happening in public services.

These organisations we have come together to explore how we can transform the way we deliver care to provide a more seamless and efficient service.
