Council of Governors

We are a group of 32 Governors who are important to the running of Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

We represent the Trust’s main stakeholders including patients, public, staff and partner organisations.

Our work ensures the needs of the local population are being met and that staff and patients are fully involved in and consulted on any changes.

All staff, public and patient Governors are elected by members of our Trust. You can become a member free.

Council meetings

The Council meets formally four times a year to discuss the business of the Trust. All meeting papers are published on this website.

We are also involved in the Trust in other ways and attend meetings and events at the hospital and in the community.
