Using our library services
We provide a wide range of services to assist clinical decision making, patient care, study and research. Please join the library in order to gain full access to our services.
Services currently provided include:

An enquiry service answering directional, clinical and information enquiries

Access to electronic resources including databases, journals and books

Literature searching, supply of articles, photocopying of articles

Advice on using library resources and training courses including searching databases, finding patient information and critical appraisal skills

Computers on the hospital and university networks with scanning facilities and a digital camera for loan

Facilities for study including study tables, easy chairs, television, DVD/video player and refreshments

Current awareness service via notice boards, book lists and the library website

Access from 0830-1700 is via the entrance situated on Damer Street (close to the junction with Western Bank and opposite the side of Starbucks). Access from 1700 -1900 is via the Accident and Emergency entrance on Western Bank. Ask at the reception for directions or download here.
