Theatre Department
Welcome to the Theatre Department
Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is home to seven operating theatres, a procedure room and around 100 Theatre staff made up of nurses, operating department practitioners, recovery nurses, theatre escorts and an administration team. The Theatre Department at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital aims to provide care for children to the highest possible standard.
The Theatre Department provides care of patients undergoing surgery in the following specialities: Paediatric Surgery, Burns, Orthopaedics, Spinal, Medical, Ear, Nose and Throat, Plastics, Ophthalmics, Oncology, Paediatric Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Maxillo-Facial, Neurosurgery and Exodontia.
