Our specialist facilities

We have:

• Eight bed spaces
• Two cubicles
• An easy access electronic bath
• An integrated hoist system to help patients in and out of bed and help with patient transfers: the bath, hoist and other specialist medical equipment were funded by The Children’s Hospital Charity, along with decorative art work that features on the walls and in the bathroom
• Interactive systems: The Hospital Charity funded Patient Interactive Systems at each bedside. These systems allow hospital teachers and play specialists to work with the children and keep them up to speed on their school work, as well offering Sky TV, radio, telephone and internet access.
