Making the most of your Athens account

This course is an introduction to all the resources available via an Athens account.

Who should attend:
Delegates interested in finding out more about the range of resources available to them via their NHS Athens account (other than the healthcare databases. For training on these see Finding the evidence training.
Pre-requisites:
Basic IT skills and familiarity with Internet browsing. You must hold a current NHS Athens account. See our NHS Athens page for more information.
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the session you should:
- Know how to access your NHS Athens account in a variety of ways
- Know and understand the resources available to you
- Be able to access all resources available to you

Access
Access from 0830-1700 is via the entrance situated on Damer Street (close to the junction with Western Bank and opposite the side of Starbucks). Access from 1700 -1900 is via the Accident and Emergency entrance on Western Bank. Ask at the reception for directions or download here.
