This course is designed to give you the skills to critically evaluate research papers and interpret their findings.
3 1/2 hours
Any staff involved in evidence based medicine
No prior knowledge or experience of critical appraisal is required.
By the end of the session you should:
- Understand the principles of critical appraisal and why you should do it
- Be able to appraise published research and judge its reliability
- Be able to assess the relevance of published research to your own work
