Help make a difference to children's lives
Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust has recently invested in a state of the art Clinical skills centre in partnership with the Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Skills Network and the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery. The centre comprises 4 training rooms all equipped with PC's and interactive whiteboards and a refurbished lecture theatre with full presentation capabilities, including video conferencing facilities is also on offer.
Whilst over the years clinical skills has been taught in clinical areas and a variety of seminar and training rooms, having a dedicated training facility will allow this training to be delivered in purpose built facilities with a range of high-tech equipment purchased for this purpose.
The centre has been been set up to enable a wide variety of clinical skills and simulation training to be carried out for paediatric staff and trainees both within the Trust but also from across the region.
