Help make a difference to children's lives

The Sheffield Children's Hospital is committed to providing new and innovative ways in which to provide and maintain care to the local community. With this in mind we are pleased to offer varied and exciting apprenticeship vacancies covering all areas of the hospital including clinical support worker, pharmacy, administrator to domestic services.
If you are enthusiastic about working within the healthcare community and would like to earn whilst training, then the modern apprenticeship scheme is an ideal opportunity to gain invaluable transferable skills that many employers now define as essential prerequisites for employment. Similarly, it gives you a chance to put something back into your local community.
Apprentices can expect to earn the Apprentice National Minimum Wage of £100 per week and will complete a National Vocational Qualification at Level 2 whilst carrying out a normal working week. You will be treated as a permanent member of staff and the same levels of high commitment and enthusiasm will be expected from any individual accepted onto the apprenticeship scheme.
The links below give you access to apprenticeship vacancies, both in this Trust and across the Health Care network, and to more general information about apprentice schemes:

Apprentice vacancies are also occasionally advertised in the "Metro" and "Sheffield Star".
